A new supermarket opened near my house. It features an automated water mister to keep the produce fresh. Just before it starts, you hear distant thunder and smell new rain. When you pass the milk cases, you may hear cows mooing and smell freshly mown hay.

The meat department smells like charcoal-roasted steaks with onions. When you approach the egg case, you can hear hens coo and cackle, and the air is filled with the delicious aroma of bacon and eggs frying.

The bread area exudes the enticing aroma of freshly baked bread and biscuits. I don’t buy toilet paper there anymore.
