In a small, close-knit hamlet, five-year-old Leo has won the hearts of the people with his exceptional piano skills. He spends hours every day playing, his small fingers dancing over the keys with an instinctive elegance and proficiency that defies his age. His family, especially his 101-year-old great-grandmother Rose, is quite proud of his accomplishments.
Rose, a former piano teacher, had identified Leo’s talent while he was still a child. Despite her infirmity, she would sit by him over the years, telling him stories about her own musical background and gently guiding his hands on the keys. Their friendship became stronger as they shared a love of music, and Leo treasured these moments with her.
One summer afternoon, Rose’s health deteriorates. The family gathers around her, realizing that her time is coming to an end. Rose, always with a glint in her eye and a lovely grin, has one more request: she wants to hear Leo play her favorite piece, a tune she used to perform herself in her youth.
