Man buys photo for $2 at garage sale; looks closely and realizes it’s worth millions.

They say that one man’s garbage is another man’s treasure, and this has been proven true numerous times. There are numerous examples of people who discovered goods that appeared to be worthless at first glance but turned out to be far more precious than anyone could have imagined. When Randy Guijarro paid $2 for an old collection of photos, he had no idea one of them would be an exceedingly uncommon treasure.

The images were quite old, without color, and taken many years ago; they were simply everyday memories. Randy just bought that package because he thought the images within were interesting and distinctive. Once home, he started looking through the images and discovered what appeared to be a familiar face: Billy the Kid, one of the Wild West’s most legendary outlaws.

Billy the Kid, true name William H. Bonney, was slain in 1881 at the age of 23, after living as a fugitive.Randy’s discovery was not only remarkable, but also valuable.
