An acclaimed violinist with over twenty years of expertise recently shut down her childhood bully after receiving an unexpected request from her. The former bully, who had persistently tortured her in middle school for her love of music, approached her with an unexpected offer: to perform at her wedding. For free! Tiffany Moore exposed the arrogance of the request through screenshots uploaded on social media.

Keep reading to learn what occurred! The former bully’s message began with, “Hey girl!!! It has been forever. I’m getting married in October, and I would love for you to play the violin at my ceremony. It would be an ideal gift, and you could use the images and videos to enhance your performance portfolio! Win-win!”Tiffany, whose background includes substantial experience in violin, piano, ukulele, guitar, viola, cello, voice coaching, music theory, and songwriting, did not require assistance in developing her portfolio.
She even claimed that she had been honored numerous times by The Knot, an online wedding vendor marketplace that connects couples with local wedding experts. Tiffany’s response was quick and direct. “Hello. It’s one. You’re quite brave to expect me to give you a $2,500 service as a present. 2. In middle school, you aggressively ridiculed me for participating in [the] symphony.
3. Create my portfolio? “You may not be aware that I have been recognized by The Knot and Wedding Wire for six years in a row,” the Chicago-based violinist said. “My ‘portfolio’ extends back to the age of twelve. I’ve worked in the wedding industry for 19 years. The bride-to-be was dissatisfied with Tiffany’s reaction and characterized her services as “overpriced,” requesting that she “help a girl out” by providing a special discount. “I really want violin music for my wedding, and I don’t want anything too challenging. “I want to be friends with you and put the past behind us,” she insisted.

Tiffany, unconvinced by the abrupt change of heart, rebuffed the proposal. “I already have friends; thank you. “I don’t have time to entertain your ignorance,” she responded. “What I offer is considered a luxury service. Clients choose to invest in their wedding day entertainment with a seasoned expert that has exceptional abilities, high-quality instruments and equipment, and is knowledgeable about how weddings are conducted smoothly. That, my dear, is why they chose me.”
Surprisingly, the bride persisted, saying, “So, are you available on October 3rd?” It’s Thursday. I can give you $1,000, but that’s all I can afford, and it’s not bad for less than an hour of play! AND you’ll receive plenty of exposure because my guest list is 300 strong!” Tiffany, referring to the popular film about high school bullies, Mean Girls (in which Lindsay Lohan’s character reacts to her crush, Aaron Samuels, asking her the date with: “It’s October 3rd”), replies: “WAIT!” My former bully is marrying on Mean Girls Day? “This is too much.”
She said, “I must deny your $1,000 offer and refuse to labor for ‘exposure.’ Charge your 300 guests a $5 entertainment fee, and you’ll cover my music services. Assuming you understand that the entertainment suggestion is a joke, the answer is still simply no. ‘I wish I could, but I don’t want to,’ Phoebe Buffay said. The bride’s tone shifted dramatically. “Well, who is the mean chick now, b**ch?! Go whine about being unable to pay your expenses because you are so greedy. Besides, you’re not even worth it, and you suck!” she exclaimed.

Tiffany’s response was calm and cool. “Ugh, I’m devastated,” she added sarcastically. “But I’m out of tissues so I have to wipe my tears with the tip money I got from my clients this weekend.” The topic immediately spread on social media, with many individuals applauding Tiffany for standing up for herself. Tiffany mentioned in an update that the bully had threatened legal action after viewing the screenshots online. Tiffany explained that she was not concerned about any legal ramifications because she never disclosed the woman’s name in the posts.
“Clearly, 7 million of you care about the bully situation,” Tiffany stated in her Instagram stories. “I appreciate your warm compliments and support. When one individual stands up to a bully, everyone feels vindicated.” One commenter wrote, “As someone who was also bullied, this feels like a win for all of us.”
