Three stories about cheaters who believe that the consequences are not for them.

1. My husband opened up and admitted that he had fallen in love with someone else, but he didn’t want to abandon me and the child. “I love you both!” he declares. So he called that woman to have a talk. And I asked, “What are you waiting for, huh?” I loved you and tolerated your adultery for eight years. So you’re doing it again? People do not change. “Get out of my life.”

2. We had a family gathering, and my uncle and his wife paid us a visit. We were drinking tea and watching TV when a close-up emerged on the entire screen of my uncle hugging a strange woman with a bunch of flowers. Then my aunt broke.

3. We couldn’t keep track of how much dishes she broke! But they didn’t. When my husband and I began dating, he cheated. I forgave him and forgot about it. We were young and stupid, and we made no promises to each other at the time. It’s been 20 years, and he suddenly says, “I need to confess something to you, but don’t worry, nothing terrible has happened.”

His “nothing terrible” referred to a fling with a coworker at a corporate event. And do you know what he told me in the end? “Why are you reacting like this? We’d been through this before, and you handled it calmly, like a smart woman. Have you lost your knowledge with age? “I did not expect this from you!” We do not live together anymore.
