Some artists, whether singers, actors, or other types of performers, have such a profound impact that their legacy endures long after they are gone. Take Elvis Presley as an example. No matter how skilled someone is at making and playing music, there will always be one monarch. Elvis Presley gave the world some of the biggest singles, like Jailhouse Rock, In The Ghetto, Hound Dog, and Love Me Tender, which is still extremely famous today and will most likely be heard and appreciated by many future generations.
With that said, it’s no wonder that numerous singers and artists cover his songs in concerts and on music talent programs. When Benedikt Köstler, a 16-year-old from Germany, went on the German version of The Voice and said that he would be performing Always On My Mind by the late Elvis Presley, the judges surely didn’t expect the kind of performance he delivered. Young Benedikt, on the other hand, was eager to take center stage.
The judges were shocked when he played the first few notes of the renowned piece of music. All five of them pressed their buzzers to turn around and watch him finish the song. “I’ve never heard a better version of this song. “His voice is unique!” one individual said. “Such excellence in one performance. God!” Another one has been added. This young man’s performance is really worth watching. Have a peek at the video below.
