Most people are unaware of the hidden detail in the Wendy’s logo.

I’m not going to lie: I adore a nice fast-food lunch. Though I don’t frequent drive-thru eateries, there’s something so soothing about a burger and fries from one of my favorite chains. Wendy’s is probably one of the favorites.

You’ve probably seen the Wendy’s emblem, which depicts a happy redhead with freckles and blue bows at the ends of her pigtails. However, did you realize there is a hidden element within that iconic logo? Wendy’s is named after entrepreneur Dave Thomas’ daughter. He opted to include another family member in the emblem, in addition to Wendy. Wendy’s ruffled collar bears the word “MOM.”

Another sneaky fast food logo? The Subway logo has two arrows pointing in opposite directions. This represents the entry and exit of a subway. Clever!

Here’s another fun one for you. Toblerone, the chocolate and candy firm, was founded in Bern, Switzerland, a city famous for bears. Look closely at the mountain in the logo. You may notice an homage to that famous bear!
