The View is getting a completely new appearance. The daytime chat program, which concluded its season on Friday, August 2nd, will be substantially different when it returns in September.

During Friday’s episode of the ABC show, co-host Sunny Hostin announced that the show would be moving to a new studio the following season. But where is The View filmed, and where is the show going? “After 10 years and 2,143 episodes, this is the last show we’ll do from this studio,” the host said. This is not the first time the performance has relocated. From 1997 until 2014, the show was recorded at ABC Television Studio 23 in New York City, which is located at 320 West 66th Street, the same building where All My Children is also filmed.

The View Cast

Since 2014, the show has been filmed at the ABC Broadcast Center, which is located at Broadway and 44th Street. Hostin, like all of us, may be excited about relocating, but the procedure itself is something no one truly appreciates, as she joked about during the episode. “For the past few weeks, we’ve had to box up and get rid of stuff… We were each given five large cartons. I took two, but Sara [Haines] took all five and was asking for more!” The host laughed.

However, she did not only make jokes about Sara Haines. Ana Navarro was also targeted. When you’re relocating and having trouble packing, everyone is fair game. More: How many Hough siblings are there? “And Ana [Navarro], please don’t say that you were a purger, because I think you had over 50 pairs of shoes in your [dressing] room,” Hostin remarked.

Navarro made a swift comeback. “I’m feeling attacked!” She protested herself, but then admitted to it. “They’re all my shoes, and I adore them all! I don’t have children, so my shoes are my children. “I am a childless shoe lady!” In the end, the set has many memories, and Hostin agreed that saying farewell is bittersweet. “We’re sad to say goodbye,”

Hostin said, “but we are thrilled to be moving to a brand-new studio downtown — brand-new, state-of-the-art — and we will see you there in September for the premiere of Season 28!” The new season of The View will premiere following Labor Day. The show’s current cast includes Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Alyssa Farah Griffin, and Ana Navarro.
