KFC’s Famous Top Secret ’11 Herbs And Spices’ Leaked To The Public

Colonel Sanders never expected his own nephew to reveal the secret to his delectable chicken, which KFC has long attributed to an expert blend of 11 herbs and spices. Fakeaways are becoming almost as popular as takeout, so many people must be attempting to replicate Colonel’s chicken at home. Although the fast food business constantly promotes that its food is “finger-lickin’ good,” it is evident that employees are afraid to divulge the recipe for fear of falling behind competitors.

We’ve only been told that they follow all six Spice Girls, as well as a man named Herb on X. KFC had kept its procedures secret since its inception in 1952, but a few years ago Joe Ledington, Colonel Harland David Sanders’ nephew, disclosed them to the world. Sanders has previously informed customers that a variety of seasonings could be found in their kitchens, but no matter how much salt, pepper, or garlic they added, it never tasted as fantastic as the real thing.

That is, until Chicago Tribune reporter Jay Jones scheduled a meeting with Ledington, during which he provided the information (naturally flavored with barbecue sauce), as well as the fries and all the other ingredients of a perfect KFC meal. The recipe was revealed to be in a family album, scribbled on the back of Ledington’s aunt Claudia’s last will and testament, rather than sealed away.

The list is captioned “11 Spices — Mix With 2 Cups White Fl.” and is scribbled in blue ink. Ledington nonchalantly explained: “That is the original 11 herbs and spices that were supposed to be so secretive.” He appears to have attempted to recant his statement since then, saying, “It could be; I don’t know for sure.” The recipe’s main ingredients are four teaspoons of paprika, three tablespoons of white pepper, and two tablespoons of garlic salt.

“The main ingredient is white pepper,” Ledington explained. “I call it the hidden ingredient. Nobody in the 1950s knew what white pepper was. “No one knew how to use it.” Add additional herbs and spices, such as oregano, basil, and thyme, as well as high-quality salt. According to the handwritten note, the “11 herbs and spices” include three varieties of salt: regular, garlic, and, shockingly, celery.

The dried mustard and pepper provide a pleasantly spicy kick, and ground ginger is added for good measure. The news group reproduced the recipe as described in the note and verified that it was “finger lickin’ excellent” after obtaining the ingredients.
