From naïve schoolgirl to global megastar, this iconic woman has hardly aged since she first rose to fame

It’s hard to realize that Cher is 76 years old. The Goddess of Pop, born on May 20, 1946 in California, originally rose to prominence with Sonny & Cher’s 1965 single “I Got You Babe.” Throughout her 50-year career, she has starred in her own television show, sold over 100 million records, won numerous accolades, appeared on Broadway, and toured solo around the world. She is easily one of the world’s most successful artists.

Many people wonder how she did it all without slowing down. Those who work in front of cameras have always sought to adapt, develop, and even experiment with their faces in order to defy the aging process. We could write a never-ending article on all the Hollywood and music business stars who have waged war on Mother Nature’s designs, the futility of their pioneering attempts, the lies told to cover up treatments, the weird diets, and the horror stories born of plastic procedures gone wrong.

Cher is possibly the most notable of all the celebrities who have been in the spotlight long enough for the public to observe their journey from youth to old age. Cher, 76, has had a very unique existence, having achieved success as both a global music artist and an actress. She has been married twice and has had romances with a number of celebrities throughout the years.

Cher, who is known for dancing on stage in sky-high heels and clothes that leave nothing to the imagination, attributes her figure to a workout regimen that includes a plant-based and dairy-free diet, abstaining from alcohol, and taking care of her skin. “I exercise about five times a week because it’s something I’ve always done and I just enjoy it,” she told Hello! Magazine.

Although she says she has to work twice as hard as others, she is determined to maintain a slimmer shape and does not mind the extra effort. “When I was younger, I was a tomboy. I participated in athletics. I’m currently learning to surf. Thank God, I like that kind of stuff. Cher also told Hello! Magazine that she does not eat meat, and in her book Cher Forever Fit: The Lifetime Plan for Health, Fitness, and Beauty, she stated that she avoids foods with a high fat content. She also apparently avoids cheese.

Cher avoids alcohol, drugs, and cigarettes. “There are things I don’t like that are unhealthy, such as drugs and drinking, so I never got into them to begin with,” she told Closer in 2013, adding: “I smoked cigarettes for a while and would have done drugs if I liked them, but they did not agree with me. I’ll just drink three or four times every year, too.”

Cher’s skincare routine doesn’t necessarily revolve around a single product. “My skincare routine is somewhat varied. I don’t commit to one specific product; I just have things I like from many individuals,” she told individuals, adding: “I have a friend named Dr. Barbara Sturm, and she creates an eye cream and face wash that I adore. I also enjoy Jan Marini’s stuff. I also enjoy using Proactiv products. The music icon also stays young by spending time with her partner, music producer Alexander Edwards, 36.

Last year, Cher claimed that she had previously introduced Edwards to the rest of her family, saying, “Love doesn’t know math!” Her reply was most likely in response to those who questioned the two new lovebirds’ enormous age difference (Cher is 76, while her lover is less than half that age at 36). Cher revealed that she and Edwards met during Paris Fashion Week in 2022. We won’t claim to be mathematical geniuses, but that puts their relationship squarely in Honeymoon area.

Even Nevertheless, many admirers expressed their happiness at seeing Cher so happy. The 76-year-old also addressed the couple’s age disparity, saying, “Love doesn’t know math, it sees [red heart emojis].” Rinpoche informed me, “Some people meet, while others recognize.”
