News anchor bursts into laughter after watching video of baby trained in CPR

“And this little baby,” the reporter says as the video starts. Onscreen, we see a tiny girl clad in a pink shirt and white jeans. Walking remains difficult for her, as it does for many other children her age. However, she has acquired a unique skill set: CPR training! As the video progresses, we watch the child conduct chest compressions and check for respiration on the “victim.”

As the clip continues to play, the reporter begins to giggle. It is not difficult to figure out why. The “victim”—a CPR mannequin—is even bigger than the tiny girl!Nonetheless, the little girl seemed unconcerned with the size difference and continues to perform CPR with enthusiasm. “She’s really cute. “Oh my God,” says the reporter. Just then, the tiny child looks up at the camera, causing the reporter to giggle.

She laughs a little more as the infant girl continues CPR, then says they need to leave so she can “stop her giggles.” The footage cuts back to the reporter, who is plainly chuckling the entire time.”Thank you to our producer, Dale, for providing that,” the reporter says as she laughs. She finishes her outro, still giggling, as the video ends.

Some observers complained that her form was not fully correct, while others noted that her “chest compressions” did not actually compress. Nonetheless, we believe her effort was amazing. She’s already mastered the most of the fundamentals, so we’re confident that after she learns to work and grows a little bigger, she’ll be well on her way to a medical profession!
