Peaches and Cream Cake

There’s no denying it: peaches and cream are a classic combo, and for good reason. It’s a pair that can’t go wrong, which is why we’ve honored it in cake form. Our Peaches & Cream Cake is simple but delicious, with the richness and flavor of fresh, juicy peaches topped with silky cream cheese and a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar, all supported by a velvety vanilla cake base.I believe this could be heaven in cake form.

It’s not a cake that is primarily about the cake, if that makes sense. It’s primarily about the fruit and the sweet peach-flavored cream cheese topping, but it’s all supported by the bottom layer of cake. They combine together to achieve brilliance – it’s not too cakey, not too fruity, and everything balances out.

This is a rather moist cake, so using a springform pan is recommended. You can use a conventional cake pan, but you’ll have to cut and serve from the pan; without a springform, you won’t be able to unmold it. Don’t mind if this looks a little untidy… One taste is enough to make you forget about everything else.
