My Husband Picks the Bathroom Lock When I Spend “Too Much Time” in the Shower

My husband doesn’t allow me to spend much time in the restroom. He claims “normal” people spend 10-15 minutes in there. If I spend more time than that, hubby believes I am pretending to shower while texting or phoning other men. He listens to what I’m doing and bangs on the door if he detects any “suspicious” sounds.

After a tough day at work, I spent approximately half an hour showering and relaxing. My husband demanded, “What’s taking you so long?” I stated I was almost finished. He did not believe me. He attempted to remove the door and began picking the lock.

I could not believe what happened next: he stormed into the bathroom, holding his phone and recording me. Fortunately, I was already clothed. He claimed he wanted to catch me cheating and use the video as evidence. I can’t handle this any longer! How can I communicate to him that what he is doing is abnormal?
