My ex-husband’s girlfriend, Nadine, and her 14-year-old son are moving into his two-bedroom property. I stated that I did not want a 14-year-old boy sharing a room with my 12-year-old daughter. His fiancee smirked silently. A few days later, I went to pick up my daughter at her father’s place. I entered her room and was horrified to see her in tears. My heart sank when I saw her closet empty.

Nadine had relocated her possessions from her bedroom and instructed her to sleep downstairs on the living room couch. I was outraged and called my ex. He claimed that Nadine did this to maintain the “maximum distance” between her son and my daughter, as I had requested.
I questioned why her son wouldn’t sleep on the couch in that scenario. My ex said that I was the one causing all the trouble in the first place, thus it didn’t make sense for her kid to be sent out. I was told that I should not interfere any longer because this is no longer my home, but I am beyond upset. Am I in the wrong?
