I gave my sister-in-law a lesson because she never pays her fair share.

My 28-year-old sister-in-law resides in another city and frequently visits us. She always stays at our house rather than reserving a hotel, and everytime she visits, she insists on eating at fine restaurants. But there’s a catch: she constantly “forgets” her wallet or thinks up an excuse not to pay. She also implies that because I make more money than her, it should be my responsibility to support her costs – not my husband’s. ‘

And, while I do have a decent income, I can’t keep paying for her every time.In the past, I simply paid the amount and asked her to repay me, but she never did. Last night, she scheduled another super-expensive restaurant, and I decided I’d had enough. Here’s where things get interesting: I performed a trick I saw on an episode of my favorite TV program.

Before we departed, I made it obvious that I would not be paying her bill this time. As we left, I feigned I had forgotten something inside, returned to the room, and saw her wallet laying on top of her luggage. I placed it in my purse without saying anything. When we finished eating, she tried the typical, claiming we only needed one bill because she had “forgotten” her wallet. I took it out of my purse and asked, “You mean this wallet?”

She was upset, claiming I had crossed a line by removing her pocketbook without her permission. And to make matters worse, she discovered that I wrote this narrative for you and is now much furious, claiming that I made her appear awful.
