An elderly, tired-looking dog stumbles into a man’s yard. The person studies the dog’s collar, touches his well-fed belly, and realizes the dog has a home. The dog follows him into the house, walks down the hall, hops on the couch, gets comfy, and falls asleep. The man thinks it’s unusual, but lets him sleep. After an hour, the dog wakes up and walks to the door, where the man lets him out. The dog wags his tail before leaving.
The next day, the dog returns and scratches at the door. The guy unlocks the door, and the dog enters, walks down the hall, jumps on the couch, gets comfy, and falls asleep again. The man let him sleep. After approximately an hour, the dog wakes up and walks to the door, where the man lets him out. The dog wags his tail before leaving. This continues for days.
The guy becomes quite inquisitive, so he puts a note on the dog’s collar: “Your dog has been taking a nap at my house every day.” The dog returns the next day with a letter pinned to his collar: “He lives in a home with four children and is trying to catch up on sleep…” … Can I join him tomorrow?”
