Hello Now I’ve Seen Everything. My spouse and I have been happily married for three years. Unfortunately, he was in a coma due to an accident two weeks prior. Last night, I searched through his belongings to feel connected to him.That’s when I discovered a concealed diary in his nightstand drawer. I began to browse over its pages, filled with curiosity and a desperate need for connection. But instead, I discovered something that broke my heart in a million pieces.

In his diary, he described a woman who was not me. He described how he felt both excited and afraid when he saw her. “Every time I  see her, my heart skips a beat,” he writes. “Remembering the nights we shared, I hide my excitement from my wife who lies beside me, fearing the risk of exposure .”In the next chapters, I understood the woman he spoke about was not a stranger—she was my own mother.

She had a romantic relationship with my husband following her divorce from my father, which surprised me.The saddest part is that they kept it a secret from me for so long. The treachery hurt hard, leaving me in shock and despair. I kept reading, and the next page brought another unexpected revelation. He wrote, eleven. Although I understand it’s morally wrong, I can’t shake the sensation that I made a mistake. She’s the person I should have picked and be with.

But it’s too late, and I’m left wondering what may have been. Now, it’s incredibly difficult for me to accept this truth because my husband and I have a close relationship with my mother.
