For extra comfort, a man buys an extra seat on a plane, but he quickly regrets it once he gets on board.

A Reddit user named Auroraah told an interesting story. This person saw what happens when paying more doesn’t get you what you want, but the opposite. This is how everything went. I had to connect to another flight. At the check-in desk about an hour before the flight, a bigger passenger INSISTED he wanted to buy a second seat to make sure he was comfy. The woman at the desk told him nicely that he wouldn’t have to and that there would be plenty of room on the plane.

The passenger is firm and tells her to sell him an extra seat next to the one he is already sitting in. She gives him what he wants and sells him a second seat for more than $200. When I get to the gate, I see that this man is on our flight. We were one of the last people at the gate, so there was no need to wait. We went straight to the plane, and the gate closed after about five more people.

When you get on the plane, there are NO MORE THAN 30–40 people sitting in the 150 places! Each person has their own set of three seats. The man a few rows in front of me is very angry and starts arguing with the flight attendant about how he was wrongfully given a second seat and wants his money back. He is told again by a flight attendant what happened at the desk, and she asks him nicely to calm down before he is taken off the plane.

After that, he and his wife spent the whole flight writing an email to the airline’s main office. Are you ready for more stories? Please find one about a woman who got her first tattoo when she was 91 years old and how people replied to her.
