I had to go food shopping at two in the morning. The second man, standing next to the cashier, maintained eye contact. I paid immediately and walked away.
I heard footsteps on my way home, and as I looked around, there was that man.

 

“Why so fast, miss?” he exclaimed. Despite my haste, he remained behind me. Someone suddenly screamed. When I looked around, I noticed that the cashier was holding the man’s hand and making him stop. Fearful for his life, the man ran.

After ensuring my safety, the cashier told me the horrifying news that this same guy had followed and robbed another woman in the middle of the night. He knew he needed to act as soon as he saw him in the store. After learning that crucial lesson, I never again went out alone at night, even for a quick trip to the convenience store.
