When Patricia Clarke, 24, became pregnant in 1983, she knew her child would be huge. She had already had one child and was aware that huge babies ran in her family. However, she had no idea how large the child she was carrying would grow to be. Patricia gave birth to Kevin Robert Clark, who weighed in at over 16 pounds. At the time, he was not only the largest infant ever delivered at Community Memorial Hospital, but maybe the largest baby in the state of New Jersey.

Kevin couldn’t fit into a standard-sized crib, and his baby clothing were too tiny for him, but he was completely healthy, much to his parents’ relief. Naturally, his size was recognized rather quickly. He garnered national headlines, spawning a segment on “Saturday Night Live” and being mentioned on “Good Morning America”.But Kevin wasn’t finished stealing the show there.
According to the New York Post, by the age of 12, he stood 5 feet 7 inches tall. By junior high, he was 6’5″. From there, he just continued to expand. You may like “There isn’t a day that goes by when someone doesn’t ask me how tall I am,” Kevin told the Post. “I like to joke that I am 5-foot-21. When someone asks if I play basketball, I ask if they play miniature golf.Today, Tom is 35 years old. He is a former military man who lives with his 6-foot-tall wife and their Great Dane.
