Three blondes sat by the side of a river, holding fishing poles with their lines in the water. A game warden approached behind them, tapped one on the shoulder, and said, “Excuse me, ladies, I’d like to see your fishing licenses.” The first blonde responded, “We don’t have any.”

“Well, if you’re going to fish, you need fishing licenses.” “But, officer,” said the second blonde. “We are not fishing.” We all have magnets at the end of our lines, and we’re gathering trash from the riverbed.”

The warden lifted all of the lines, and sure enough, magnets were linked to the ends of each. The warden stated, “Well, I know of no law against it,” “take all the debris you want.” With that, he left.

As soon as he was out of sight, the three blondes burst out laughing. “What a dumb cop,” the second blonde exclaimed to the other two, “doesn’t he know that there are steelhead trout in this river?!”
