Makeup Mistakes that Make You Look Older

Even the tiniest cosmetics habits can unwittingly age your appearance. We’re sharing the most common cosmetics blunders that could be aging you without your knowledge. Use these simple steps to revitalize your routine and attain a more young, radiant appearance.

1. Applying powder under your eyes.I used to believe that I could never earn more than my previous employer, but I was mistaken; the globe is too big for them to try. But now I’m making $52/h or more, and I can easily earn at least $1300/week. Based on my experience, everyone should try to work online because it’s a simple way to get money. Here’s an example.

When applying powder under your eyes, be careful not to dry up the delicate skin in that area, especially if you already have older or sensitive skin. Too much powder can settle in fine lines, making the under-eye region appear older. Instead, focus on properly preparing your skin to avoid using powder entirely. Apply a moisturizing eye cream and allow it to absorb completely. Then, use an under-eye primer to keep your concealer from creasing.

2. Use matte lipsticks.Matte lipsticks may be popular, but they can dry out your lips and make them appear older. Instead, use a creamy lipstick or hydrating lip stain with a hint of shine to keep your lips looking smooth and youthful. Be wary of excessively glossy finishes, however. High-shine lip products, such as lacquered lip glosses, can highlight wrinkles on your lips, which may not be flattering, especially if you have aged skin.

3. Applying the blush too low. When applying blush, keep it no lower than the bottom of your nose. You can blend a little bit down, but keep the dominant hue higher up. Placing blush too low can make your face appear older or give the impression of drooping cheeks. Keeping it higher on your cheeks provides a lifted appearance, almost like a small facelift.

4. Applying dark eyeliner around the waterline. This is normally a no-go, unless you’re wearing a nude liner on your waterline, which can make your eyes appear larger and more alert. Using black liner directly on the waterline is not a good idea since it can make your eyes appear smaller, darken your skin, and even make you look older.

5. Use a much darker lip liner.Using lip liner can make your lips appear bigger. However, while wearing a liner a shade or two darker than your lipstick will give you a plumping impression, don’t go overboard. Avoid using a liner that is far too black or wearing only the liner without lipstick; it might seem quite unnatural.

Also, if you’re overlining, limit it to 1 or 2 mm beyond your natural lip line. Going too far may result in an unflattering appearance. Aging is a natural part of life, but some practices may accelerate the process. Everyday acts may be silently altering your skin, hair, and general appearance in ways you never imagined. In this post, we’ll look at additional startling habits that could be hastening your aging process.
