When accepting the award, the actress gave a passionate speech about aging in Hollywood. However, her acceptance speech was not the only thing that got netizens talking. A video of Moore’s interaction with other award event attendees began circulating. In the video, the Ghost actress approaches Elle Fanning and talks to her and Monica Barbaro. Her body blocks Kylie Jenner, who is sitting behind her, staring at the actress and evidently fighting for her attention so she may converse with her.
However, Demi Moore does not turn around to interact with Kylie. After hugging Elle Fanning and speaking with her, she continues on, entirely disregarding Kylie Jenner. However, she pauses to speak with Jenner’s date and boyfriend, Timothée Chalamet. Moore’s refusal to acknowledge Jenner sparked outrage on social media.
