Kate Middleton had clever trick to stop women flirting with Prince William

Kate Middleton and Prince William met at the university. A close acquaintance revealed what Kate Middleton would do to prevent females from flirting with William in the early stages of their relationship at university. We all know that Kate and William were close friends long before they started dating. The two met in their first year of university at St Andrews in Scotland, and they have lived together ever since.

As you can expect, girls would swarm to William in an attempt to become the future Queen, but Kate was always there to save the day. According to a close friend, Prince William was frequently ‘too courteous’ to reject girls when they made overtures.Laura Warshauer, their common acquaintance, told Katie Nicholl, a royal specialist, for her book Kate: The Future Queen, that “Will was getting really hit on by this girl at a party and it was getting quite uncomfortable because he couldn’t shake her off.”

“He was quite nice, but this girl didn’t catch the hint. Kate suddenly appeared behind him and embraced him. “He said ‘Oh, sorry, but I’ve got a girlfriend’, and he and Kate went off giggling.” She said, “Kate was the only girl in the room who could have done it. And that was only a month after we started university. In their second year, they shared a residence with other pals, which apparently cost £100 per week. But in William and Kate’s third and final years, they moved into a secluded off-campus property owned by one of William’s distant cousins.

Balgove House in Strathtyrum was guarded by unmarked police cars and deemed secure for the young royals to live in. However, it has not been all roses for the couple, as they separated briefly after dating for five years, with Prince William stating that they needed ‘just a bit of separation’. According to Rob Jobson’s new book, Catherine, The Princess of Wales: A Biography of the Future Queen, William cruelly dumped Kate during a 30-minute chat.

“He told her they both needed ‘a bit of space’ to ‘find our own way’, and he was unable to promise her marriage,” Jobson told me. “In an emotionally charged 30-minute conversation, they both acknowledged they were on ‘different pages’.” According to Jobson, Kate’s tenacity during the obviously terrible scenario made William know he’d f***ed up big time. The rest, as they say, is history.
