We rented a property with an additional flat in the basement. The lady who lived below us kept to herself for the most part, so we didn’t see her often. Our rental included a detached garage, and she requested if she could place a small deep freezer in it.

We didn’t mind because we were just utilizing it for storage. After a few weeks, her freezer became disconnected, prompting her to demand payment for replacement. I understand her irritation, but we rarely went into the garage because it was solely for storage.

In other words, we clearly did not disconnect it, and our landlord concurred. But she was pissed.
