Have you ever imagined a small house so spacious that it feels like a full-size home? Mint Tiny House has made this feasible by creating the Orca, a one-of-a-kind “extra-large tiny house” that reimagines compact living. Farai, the marketing mastermind, built this single-level park model home on wheels that is 44 feet long, 12 feet wide, and 13.5 feet tall.

The Orca is designed for folks who seek the amenities of a conventional home in a more sustainable footprint. It features a bright, open plan with no lofts, ladders, or steps, setting it apart from the typical tiny house. The Orca, an extra-sized tiny home, includes a fully equipped kitchen, two main-floor bedrooms, a large living area, a decent bathroom, a full laundry room, and plenty of storage.

Its high ceilings and clerestory windows provide a light and open atmosphere, making the space feel considerably larger than its 528-square-foot size. Farai explains that the Orca is more than just a small house; it’s a park model designed to withstand severe weather. “In the winter, our park versions can survive temperatures as low as -30 degrees; in the summer, air conditioning and fans keep you cool.

“You can totally live in one year round,” he explains.Spray foam is used to insulate the home’s walls, floors, and ceilings in order to increase energy efficiency. It features electric baseboard heating as well as a dual-zone split system for additional heating and cooling. The external connections include a 50-amp power outlet, a garden hose for fresh water, and a septic connection, making it suitable for permanent installation on land or in a small housing community. The video below takes you inside Orca, an extra-large tiny house.
