A viral social media video shows what happens to a fetus when a mother laughs. The mother laughing puts the fetus, which is content in the uterus, ‘under attack’. We don’t know the video’s context, or what joke made the mom laugh so hard. However, when the mother laughs, the infant feels earthquake-like sensations. Reddit user remarked, “BIRTHQUAKE!!!!” under the video.

We don’t know how the kid feels in the womb, but the ultrasound image shows him moving around in uncertainty. An unborn child may only experience the mother’s womb as an amusement park ride. In the video, the uterus contracts and appears to face the fetus. It appears that the baby is being disturbed and has less space.

People appear unsure how to feel. One user said, “I showed this to my wife (she’s pregnant) She couldn’t stop laughing, I don’t know if that’s wholesome or creepy.” Parents quickly thought about their own pregnancy and what their children went through. They wrote, “Oh dear I owe my kids an apology.” Another person suggested this is why people adore amusement parks. Someone wrote, I now see why people prefer amusement parks.
