A Canadian mom’s mural painting project has gone viral after she transformed her daughter’s room into a hand-painted princess scene while she was in preschool. The sweet surprise instantly went viral online, with many complimenting her originality and artistic ability. Rachel Lancaster used TikTok to show how she transformed her daughter’s room into a Disney princess-themed painting.

In a time-lapse movie, she demonstrated the entire process, starting with a purple background and then masterfully sketching and painting iconic princess characters by hand. “I wanted to maintain them looking like the original princesses, cartoonish with black line work. “Then I thought, why stop on one wall when I can carry it over to the other?” she explained in her popular video.

Rachel expanded the mural idea across numerous walls, adding more princesses and painting a tree with gentle pink blossoms to fill an empty spot. She answered audience questions along the way, including one about the hue of a princess’s dress. With a playful demeanor, she stated that she chose the color on purpose to keep the purple theme consistent across the space.
