My husband works, while I stay at home and care for his children. My father recently died and left me a $15,000 inheritance, and my husband says we need it to provide a better life for the children. I reminded him, “Your children are your responsibility… Not mine! It is not my obligation to provide for them!”
He simply smiled. Later that day, I froze when I realized my closet was empty. Most of my bags and shoes were gone. I went into the living room, where my spouse was, and discovered my belongings packed in boxes.

He responded: “I thought marriage was about supporting each other, but clearly, you don’t believe in that!” Then, with a chuckle, he said, “Now that you have your father’s money, maybe you can spend it on your own stuff.” I could not believe my eyes!
It’s been a few days, and my husband and I have stopped talking. Was I wrong in what I said?
