Ruairidh Maclean, known as RuMac, a musician from Ullapool, Scotland, captivated the judges and audience during his audition on Britain’s Got Talent (BGT) 2025. He uniquely performed Baccara’s 1977 disco hit “Yes Sir, I Can Boogie” using an accordion, blending traditional Scottish musical elements with a lively disco rhythm.

The performance began with judges expressing skepticism, particularly Simon Cowell, who remarked on his dislike for accordions. However, RuMac’s energetic and original rendition quickly won them over, leading to a standing ovation. KSI, a guest judge, commented, “That’s the sort of stuff that will go viral, bro.” Simon Cowell described it as “fantastically mad.”
