We live at home with his parents. My husband has never wanted to leave or buy our own home, so I worked hard to accomplish it on my own. I was able to save approximately 35% of a down payment on a property in a relatively short period of time. I wanted to buy my own home that I could be proud of, and I eventually located the perfect one.

However, my spouse suddenly announced that he wants to co-own this house with me. He recommended we become equal owners and pay 50/50. But the truth is that he has numerous debts and no savings at all. His parents often cover his monthly expenditures, so I’m confident he won’t be able to pay for this half.
