This 14-year-old lad saved his native hamlet from being destroyed by forest fires. Forest fires raged near the settlement, the grass was parched, and the wind was picking up outside. Alex noted that the fire was gradually creeping up to the houses. He hurried into his yard to summon his father, but he wasn’t home, so he decided to take his tractor and plow the land around the hamlet on his own.

„Five minutes to consider, then start the tractor, pick up the plow, and drive away. It was not terrifying. Without me, the entire village would likely have burned down. I was worried about my grandmother’s house catching fire and not being able to put it out due to the strong wind,” Alex added.

At the time, the guy’s mother stayed at home with his younger brothers; she acknowledges that she was concerned about her kid but believed he would handle it. “He took up the plow and drove away, leaving me standing on the road the entire time. Only black smoke and fire were seen. Then a fire vehicle arrived, but it was positioned on the outskirts of the settlement. I was immediately panicked; I tried to get to him myself, but he had already plowed everything, making it impossible.”

Natali contacted her husband, and he was already on his way. He begged for another tractor, and when Alex’s uncle arrived, the three of them plowed the area, putting out the fires. Parents are extremely proud of their son, who made the gutsy decision to drive a tractor and plow the ground on his own to save over 300 people in the hamlet.
