Protest has become a habit. The girl did not wash her hair for eight years

Paige, 16, an American resident, hasn’t washed her hair in eight years. It all began as a protest. Her parents asked her to wash her hair every day, but Paige, who was eight years old, felt uncomfortable. As a result, the girl stopped washing her hair completely. It was unpleasant at first: the head itched and smelt horrible, but it eventually became a habit.

The girl just cleaned her hair and used dry shampoo to cover up the bad scent and greasy coating. Many of the girl’s peers and parents shunned her after discovering her peculiar habit. Many people thought she had lice and other scalp problems. However, Paige admits that she has become accustomed to this situation and is unconcerned with dirty hair. Paige’s only problem was with the sheets.

The pillowcase needed to be changed every other day because the cloth became soiled quickly and had a terrible odor. However, when the girl started a new school, she had to do it. Paige noticed her peers’ clean and lovely hair and realized she did not belong in at all.

Eight years later, the girl finally washed her hair. Paige is now experimenting with new hairstyles and appreciating her lovely, clean hair.
