A strange doctor

I went to a gynecologist. There was a new doctor. As he examined me, he said quietly, “Your husband is a lucky guy!” I felt like striking him. But when I arrived home and undressed, I discovered he had not thoroughly inspected me. The checkup had been hasty, and he hardly looked. His inappropriate comment caught me off guard, and I didn’t realize it at the moment.

The next day, I received a call from the receptionist asking me to return for an emergency second visit. I was surprised to learn that this person was not a doctor at all. He had fabricated his documents and degrees, and in truth, he had pulled out of medical school after just eight months.

It all made sense now—why the exam was so fast and why he tried to distract me with that filthy insult. Fortunately, he was arrested early and did not have the opportunity to endanger any woman’s life.
