Oliver and Isaac are twin brothers, but two years have gone between their birth dates. What’s the mystery? Rachel and Richard Best are parents to “mysterious” twins. Husband and wife have been trying to conceive for four years. However, after three miscarriages and six fruitless reproductive treatments, they decided to go the other way.

Rachel underwent seven cycles of IVF. Finally, luck smiled on the Bests’ faces! Oliver was born in 2014. The couple opted to freeze the leftover embryos from the “successful” batch. Rachel had another round of IVF a few years later. Yes, she became pregnant with her son’s twin. Isaac’s supposed birth date coincided with Oliver’s birthday. What a coincidence! And even though Isaac was born 5 days earlier, the truth remains the same.

“When we compare their images from the same age, they appear extremely similar. We see them as twins, even if we know this is a little absurd. “That is why Oliver is the big twin and Isaac is the little twin,” Rachel explains. The couple thinks their children are a tremendous miracle. After all, there were numerous obstacles. At times, the husband and wife believed they were not allowed to have children.

“When Oliver came, we were overwhelmed with emotion. “We never imagined we’d become parents,” Rachel admits. — Oliver treats Isaac extremely nicely. If his younger brother cries, he always hugs him. They clearly share a special bond.”
