Shawn and Heather made a life-changing decision by trading their underutilized four-bedroom house for a simpler, more deliberate way of living. They saved money, paid off their mortgage, and retired early by adopting minimalism.

“We lived from living room to kitchen to bedroom bathroom, and that’s exactly what we have here,” Shawn told me. Determined to simplify, they sold their standard home and moved into a custom-built tiny house in a designated neighborhood.
