Misty responded on TikTok to critics who claimed the name she chose was “more appropriate for a pet” than for a human.

Misty said in her video that she named her kid Kartiyr Kior after Cartier, a French firm famed for its watches and jewelry. The mother lambasted those who wrote nasty comments about her baby’s name, stating, “Are y’all dumb, or like are you dumb?” My son’s initial name is Kartiyr, and his middle name is Kior. “Kor Kartiyr.”
