Take a close look at the photograph. In it, a man holds an axe and a piglet stands alongside him. Interestingly, the piglet’s breed is rather unusual—observe its legs and features. The man is obviously preparing something, as November 7 and the first frosts approach, at least in most parts of the country.

As we know, in rural places, people used to kill livestock and prepare meat for the winter. This was necessary for two reasons. First, with the arrival of the first frosts, meat could be stored outside in specific containers without concern of spoilage. Second, by this point, livestock, particularly pigs, would have achieved their full weight. They wouldn’t grow any weight, therefore there was no point in feeding them anymore.

Returning to our conundrum, it’s worth noting the donkey’s ingenuity in hiding from its owner and refusing to spend the winter in a heated stable. Now for the puzzle question: Where is the donkey hiding in the picture? Can you spot the animal?
