A Syrian Orphan Lives with Her Baby Sister—and Sings Like an Angel on AGT

In a moment that touched millions around the world, a young Syrian orphan stepped onto the stage of America’s Got Talent (AGT) and shared a story that moved both the judges and the audience to tears. Living in a foreign land with nothing but hope and her baby sister by her side, this brave young girl turned to music as a way to survive—and now, she’s using her voice to inspire.

Originally from war-torn Syria, she lost her parents at a young age and became the sole guardian of her infant sister. Despite unimaginable hardship, she refused to let grief define her future. With no formal training, she taught herself to sing through online videos and old recordings, using every moment to comfort her sister—and herself—with lullabies and ballads.
