How to use castor oil to scare away rats and mice

Castor oil is a natural way to repel rats and mice without using harmful chemicals. Its strong smell irritates rodents, making your home or garden less inviting.

How to Use It: Spray Solution. Mix 2 tablespoons of castor oil, 1 tablespoon of dish soap, and 2 cups of water. Spray around entry points, baseboards, and areas with rodent activity. Reapply every few days.

Cotton Balls.. Soak cotton balls in castor oil and place them in corners, under sinks, or behind appliances. Replace weekly. Garden Use. Spray the castor oil solution around your garden to deter rodents and other pests like moles. Castor oil won’t kill rodents, but it helps drive them away safely and naturally.
