I went to school almost four hours away from home. I’d been dating this girl for almost two years when I discovered she’d been cheating on me for the previous few weeks. I ended the connection and informed my friends and family what had happened.

I called my father, and he asked if he could do anything. As a broke college student, I stated I’d just like a good supper. He stated he was busy, but urged me to check my account after class because he will send some money.
