A strange nanny

We hired a nanny—a quiet 24-year-old female. My seven-year-old son became bonded so quickly that he had tantrums when she was away. Yesterday, I discovered a laminated photograph of my son in her bag. Initially, I thought it was sweet. But then I turned it and froze, horrified. She had penned two words: “My son.” I was perplexed and decided to wait until her next visit to inquire what it meant.

But the same night, I received a panicked call from a mother. She stated, “This girl intends to take over your family. I hired her a year ago, and she got fascinated with my son, finally seducing my husband. Be careful. “Fire her before it’s too late!”

My whole world fell apart. I did exactly what the woman said. The nanny cried, screaming that everything was a lie, but I couldn’t let her stay in my house for another minute.
