Six-year-old Oscar DAZZLES with incredible Irish dancing! | Auditions | BGT 2018

Do you remember performing in front of hundreds of people at your school’s Christmas or end-of-year parties? This is the story of Oscar Donnelly, a six-year-old boy from Scotland. Since he first stopped crawling, his parents, Annie and Chris, noticed him dancing constantly, and they encouraged his creativity from the very beginning.

There was something about his passion for dancing that made them feel it could be his destiny. Not only did he have incredible talent, but he also had an unshakable desire to dance. Could he go far? At the time, they had no idea that, years later, he would appear on Britain’s Got Talent. Rather than focusing on modern dance styles like hip-hop or jazz, Oscar was drawn to traditional Irish dance.

It was the perfect way for him to celebrate his heritage while pursuing something he truly loved. Over the years, his talent grew, and he became well-known among Irish dance experts—though the wider world had yet to discover him. When Oscar’s parents heard about the Got Talent auditions, they knew their son had to take part. This was his chance to shine on a big stage and showcase his skills. But how would he manage performing in front of such a huge audience?
