It Went So WRONG!

K. Lyn Baker stepped onto the America’s Got Talent stage in 2014 hoping to prove that dreams have no expiration date. The 49-year-old secretary from Denver, Colorado, shared that although she spent her days working in an office, singing made her feel like she could “take over the world.” After years of performing karaoke, she finally found the courage to audition for one of television’s biggest talent shows.

Choosing Lady Gaga’s hit “Bad Romance,” K. Lyn Baker delivered a bold and energetic performance that quickly grabbed the audience’s attention. While her confidence was undeniable, the judges were not convinced. Howard Stern, Heidi Klum, Mel B, and Howie Mandel all voted “No,” ending her AGT journey during the audition round.

Although she didn’t advance in the competition, K. Lyn Baker’s audition remains one of the memorable moments from Season 9. Her fearless attitude and willingness to chase a lifelong dream inspired many viewers, proving that it is never too late to step onto a big stage and give it your all.
