She realized her hair grew rapidly in those areas, and she began to feel embarrassed and self-conscious. It got so bad that she couldn’t go out without wearing a face mask, and this started to affect her relationship with her husband.

For years, she refused to let him kiss her because she thought she was disgusting. Unfortunately, her doctors were unable to assist her because they were unable to determine the reason of her illness. Svetlana was miserable for many years as a result of this.

The medical team advised her to lose more than 30lbs and live a healthy lifestyle, and Svetlana began to see changes.

While speaking about her recovery and transformation, Svetlana said: “I walk outdoors with my chin up after a dozen years of hiding my face. I’m finally happy. and my son feels if – we hug each other finally, and he can touch my face.”

It was explained by the medical team that Svetlana had Hirsutism, a common symptom of PCOS. Svetlana now enjoys her relationship with her husband and son and is free from the shame that burdened her all these years.
