When one woman’s precious wedding ring was misplaced, she had to face this fact. She had no idea that she would be reunited with the jewel five decades later. Florene Bush was gardening at her Leoma home one day when she misplaced her gold wedding ring. This occurred somewhere in the 1970s, and she didn’t expect to see it again!!!
Even though Florene accepted the painful loss, she still thought about the ring from time to time. Florene’s son Frank told Newschannel5 that his now 94-year-old mom often talked about how much she missed the band.
While at her nursing home, Florene mentioned the missing ring once again but, this time, a man named Wesley White heard her. Wesley said that he was at the facility talking to his mother when he overheard Florene discussing the ring.

Wesley was very interested in the conversation because he loved testing his metal detector. As a retiree, he spent a lot of his time hunting for coins and, upon hearing about Florene’s ring, he decided to go hunt for it. He and his friend Jeff Howell were pleasantly surprised when, 90 minutes after they started searching, they found the missing wedding ring.
