Ellianna has been deafeningly deafeningly deafeningly deafeningly deafeningly deafeningly deafen Alison Potts, her mother, was born with Waardenburg syndrome, a genetic hearing condition. She later gave it to three of her eight children, including Ellianna, her youngest!
When it finally came time to put in the 3-month-old baby’s first pair of hearing aids, everyone was so excited — except for Ellianna. She clearly didn’t enjoy having something put inside her ears, so she cried and fussed… until her mom’s voice caught her attention.
