Take a peek at this couple’s transformation of an old school bus! The bus was lovingly transformed into a living house by Jeremy and Mira Thompson over the course of several years. The bus was progressively transformed into an incredible custom-built tiny house thanks to Jeremy’s design and carpentry and mechanical talents!
Everything was meticulously built to ensure that it would keep together while the bus moved. The bus is still running. Mira and Jeremy found many of the ornamental objects visible inside at flea markets and garage sales, and they used reused materials to keep the expenses down.
You’ll see all the craftsmanship and love that went into this micro-home in the photos that Jeremy and Mira shared with Reshareworthy.com below! Four years ago, Mira and Jeremy Thompson bought a 1989 International school bus and transformed it into a nice tiny house.
At 37-feet long, it’s plenty spacious and the couple set out to make the big yellow school bus into their charmingly and comfy cozy cottage. It took nearly four years of working on this project for Mira and her husband Jeremy to transform the yellow bus into a house,
with the use of plenty of reclaimed materials such a Douglas Fir flooring, cedar shingles on the exterior, and wood from an old house for the ceiling. A great project for a nice-looking house.
