Parents are not scared as their baby shows off insane skills to get off the bed. If you think babies cannot inspire you, think again. Adults do not have a monopoly on genius problem-solving and razor-sharp analytical skills!

I present this 8-month-old baby to prove my argument. His parents are either extremely irresponsible or geniuses like their offspring. They watch and cheer the baby on as he reaches the edge of the bed. Insane, right? But, wait. This is not your average baby.

He changes his posture parallel to the drop-off as soon as he approaches the edge. He then carefully aligns himself and reaches down with his left leg. He brings the right leg behind the left leg, which is now safely at the bottom.

He shimmies his upper body and uses his core to scale down the bed because his legs haven’t yet reached the floor. This little prodigy hasn’t learned to walk yet, but he’s figured out how to use his still-weak legs to solve a different problem. Isn’t it beautiful?
