Can you spot the mistake in this picture?

Before we get started on the puzzle, let’s talk about why these visual assessments are so crucial for your brain. Did you know that these kinds of puzzles might help you improve your critical thinking skills? On PsychologyToday, professor Marcel Danesi defines critical thinking as “the ability to perceive the logical links among ideas, words, phrases, and concepts.”

Professor Danesi goes on to say that “critical thinking involves the ability to recognize a pattern in provided information and, particularly, the ability to recognize how the information is connected to the real world.”

Little puzzles like this one, in which you must find the inaccuracy in an image, help to develop critical thinking skills. Essentially, you must apply real-world logic and critical thinking to identify errors and determine what would or would not work!

If you take a look at the plane, you’ll see the error right away. Look at the propellers. That has to be a flight safety issue! Only one propeller on one side and two on the other would make for a very dangerous flight. If they could even get off the ground in the first place!
